MELVINS: 1-12 Double LP SET *BOTH EDITIONS*

Way back in 1996, we released a series of twelve 7" singles by the Melvins. The following year, all of them were put together on a double CD that was simply known as Melvins 1-12.
For the 30th Anniversary, we're reissuing the whole kit-n-kaboodle for the first time as a vinyl double LP & we went all out to make it a complete smorgasbord of visual delights.
Most of the gatefold sleeve has artwork by HAZE XXL & silkscreened in 4 colors on our regular tan chipstock sleeves by Obsolete Industries. It was then was further customized with the inner part of the gate getting hand-stamped using a giant stamper with ink that ranges from pale ivory to creamy yellow & adorned with little holographic flower stickers in various colorways. Edition # is hand-stamped on the inside of the gate under the large skull stamp. After the set was assembled & sealed in the plastic sleeve, a final detail of another small sticker was put on to line up with the center of the sunflower on the front of the sleeve. Even beyond the variation you get with hand-stamping so much, there's so much more going once once to factor in the different shades of color between the in letterpress & stamper inks & the holographic stickers, truly none of the sleeves will be exactly like any of the others.
There's also a letterpress print mounted inside by Mackie Osborne. The Slava Edition is on tan stock with red & reddish orange ink. Same image on the Gopher Edition, but is on yellow cardstock with bright orange & goldenrod inks & the variants are exclusive to their repesctive editions.
The vinyl colors on each edition match their sleeves. Slava is in cerulean blue & a pale mustard color & Gopher is in orange & dark red. On both variants, sides A/B are a combined haze of those 2 colors & C/D are them in a pinwheel pattern. WE will do our best to get matching edition numbers, but it's NOT guaranteed. Since the edition number is stamped inside the gatefold & everything is sealed in the plastic sleeve, we had to match them all up ahead of time & it's very easy to accidentally get them out of order. Fingers crossed that they'll match, but theres always a chance they won't this time.
Each edition is limited to 300 copies. Catalog #'s are AMREP159. Here's the track listings...

Something we should also mention, in case it's an issue. These releases are handmade & may have slight imperfections (& that's particularly true with this album release). We have the sleeves custom made, then they're shipped to us through the meatgrinder gamble that is USPS. From there, they are run through a screenprinter anywhere from an average of 6-9 times & then are all hand stuffed with the actual records. All in all, that's a lot of handling & so there's a good chance that they're not going to looking like a gleaming shrink-wrapped sleeve from a machine at a factory.
Sweet mother of god, please pay attention to this. It's even written in red to stand out. PLEASE place everything you want into 1 ORDER.
If there are multiple orders placed from the same customers we will either combine them with no refund on postage, or they will be sent out exactly as placed.
C'mon, it's hard enough processing a couple hundred orders quickly without this AND responding to all the emails requesting combined shipping and refunds. This delays EVERY order.
